Care For the Community at Mattishall

We provide support and encouragement for those times in your life when however hard you try, you can not quite cope on your own.

In particular we can, when requested, provide someone to have a chat after losing a loved one. We also are glad to offer support when bad news breaks whether it is for example a diagnosis of a serious illness in yourself (or a family member), or when a marriage falls apart or some other crisis when a helping hand is needed. We are happy to offer continuing support in such circumstances.

We can also provide practical support when action is needed for example when housebound people need some shopping. We have strong links with a Day care group which meets in our church rooms, where people who are less able to get about can have friendships, activities and lunch.
